In The Beginning…

I thought I would start at the beginning (a very good place to start).

When I was first diagnosed we didn’t tell anyone, not even our children. We wanted to see where this was all headed first so that we had as many answers as possible to give them. We live on the west coast and all our family was spread out on the east coast, including our grown children so we decided to make some videos about my process. That way the people that wanted to know how things were going could stay informed and possibly help others along the way.

Don’t worry, we did call our immediate family and let them know but for everyone else, we used the videos to help relay the message.

This is the first video in that series before I knew I would get the ostomy.
