Ryan Reynolds Gets A Colonoscopy.

Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool among many others) recently had a colonoscopy and he brought the cameras to show the process. The did find a “extremely subtle polyp” on the right side of his colon and the doctor explained, “This was potentially life-saving for you — I’m not kidding, I’m not being overly dramatic,” the doctor told the actor. “This is exactly why you do this. You had no symptoms.”

In fact I had no symptoms either and my turned out to be cancer. Most people are totally unaware there is an issue until its progressed quite far.

I’m so happy that Ryan did this. It is important that we all talk about it and make people realize how vital this procedure is and how relatively easy it is.
